Our Story...
It is our belief that the first of previous entities to Helpcards was originally founded back in the mid 1960’s, albeit there is no available paper records to authenticate this.
Our understanding is that a consortium of 33 UK-based charities came together as shareholders with a collective mission to fundraise by way of publishing and selling each year an exclusive range of Christmas card packs, promoting each of their individual names. All the profits generated from the Christmas card sales were distributed to the 33 member charities, pro-rata to their shareholding, to help support their charitable cause.
The company name ultimately changed to Helpcards Limited and became active in 1995 to the present time. In 2020, and following the merger of two member charities, we rebranded to a new trading name of
Help 32 Charities.
Today some 60 years later, we remain a unique charitable brand bringing together 32 UK-based member charities. We are as committed as ever to generating and providing much needed funds to support a plenitude of diverse and worthy good causes. The vast majority are our original founder member charities.
Since the year 2000 we have raised over £2.4 million through the sale of our Christmas card packs. We have recently expanded our product offer to year-round greeting cards, gift wrapping and faux flora & foliage, with the aim to try and grow annual funding and distribution to our member charities.
